Lucas Machibya is a highly experienced development and humanitarian worker specialized in the field of public health, nutrition, maternal and child health, child food security and livelihood. He has worked with several reputable organizations including UNHCR, International Medical Corps and Medical Teams International.

He has superior stakeholders’ management and coordination skills to project designs, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. His leadership and strategic management skills enabled him to lead large donor funded public health and maternal health programs.  He possesses a bachelor’s degree in home economics and human nutrition from Sokoine University of Agriculture and a master’s degree in international child health from University College London
